Live from the O2 on VH1

If you didn’t get a chance to see Guns N’ Roses at an arena near you while they were embarking on their massive worldwide tour last year, you’re in luck. Tomorrow night, Saturday, March 2, Guns N’ Roses: Live From The O2 In London will premiere on VH1 at 11 p.m. ET/PT as part of the Palladia Presents series.

While you’ll have to tune-in tomorrow night to witness for yourself the spell that Axl is still able to put audiences under, we’ve got a couple of sneak clips live for you today, which you can use to get a taste of what’s to come. Check out “Welcome To The Jungle” above, and we’ve also got“Sweet Child O’ Mine” and the show-stopping “Paradise City” for you to sample, too.

Guns N’ Roses: Live From The O2 In London will begin showing on VH1 Classic starting on March 9, and will make its way to Palladia on March 16.

May 19th, 2012 Nottingham, UK @ Capital FM Arena

Two great gigs in Moscow, 1 in Dublin……Guns N’ Roses are rolling into England…..Nothingham to be precise!

Axl and the boys are in top shape.  Are you guys ready???

Nottingham  is a city and unitary authority in the East Midlands of England in the ceremonial county of Nottinghamshire and is one of eight members of the English Core Cities Group.

Nottingham is famed for its links with the legend of Robin Hood and, during the Industrial Revolution, obtained worldwide recognition for its lace-making, bicycle and tobacco industries. With origins tracable back to 600 AD, Nottingham was granted its city charter as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Queen Victoria in 1897 and has since been officially titled the City of Nottingham. The city has historically been nicknamed The Queen of the Midlands, being the smaller yet less industrialised regional neighbour to the Midlands biggest city, Birmingham. Nottingham is considered the primary centre of England’s East Midlands region, being home to numerous regional headquarters and media stations including the BBC East Midlands and the Regional Government Office.

Whilst Nottingham has always had a tightly-drawn authority boundary, accounting for its relatively small population of 306,700, Nottingham’s Urban Area has a population of approximately 670,000; in the 2001 census, it was the eighth largest urban area in the United Kingdom. Eurostat’s concept of the Larger Urban Zone listed the area’s population at 825,600 as of 2004.

RockStar Weekly Guns N’ Roses set list magazine

GREAT THING TO BUY!

Taken from :

http://www.rockstarweekly.com/rockstar-weekly-guns-n-roses-set-lists-magazine-now-available.html

RockStar Weekly is pleased to announce the second release in our Tour Edition Collection. This time out we’re looking at the 2009-2010 Guns N’ Roses Chinese Democracy Tour with a 60 page collection of set lists from the entire tour. The magazine is being printed and distributed by Hewlett-Packard Development Company production service MagCloud.

We saw some incredible set lists on this tour, including a 42-song outing in Tokyo, Japan which lasted 3 hours and 37 minutes. Let’s hope that show finds it’s way to official DVD/Blu-Ray release. In traditional GNR manner, the set list changes are frequent and the lengths of the shows range from 21 to 42 songs. The band also had fun performing several covers as full songs or instrumentals during the tour. The complete list of songs performed is below. This book also contains a great fan story from Elías Helgi, who went from Iceland to Canada to see GNR.

We hope you enjoy this collection of set lists from the 2009-2010 GNR tour dates – It’s the only collection of its kind available in printed matter and would be a great memento if you attended one of the shows.
As a bonus, RockStar Weekly will donate $1.00 from each magazine sold to Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal’s favourite charity – the Multiple Sclerosis Research Foundation.
