November 13th, 2011 Minneapolis, MN @ Target Center

Two shows in 2 days!  Did I tell you already that I hate having 2 shows in 2 days?  But people attending like it..;)  Have fun!

The Target Center is an arena in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is sponsored by Target Corporation. The arena has a capacity of 20,500 people. It contains 702 club seats and 68 suites.

The center is home to the NBA‘s Minnesota Timberwolves, the WNBA‘s Minnesota Lynx and the LFL‘s Minnesota Valkyrie. The facility has also hosted RHI and Arena Football League teams in the past.

Minneapolis, nicknamed “City of Lakes” and the “Mill City,” is the county seat of Hennepin County,  the largest city in the U.S. state of Minnesota, and the 48th largest in the United States. Its name is attributed to the city’s first schoolteacher, who combined mni, the Dakota word for water, and polis, the Greek word for city.

Minneapolis lies on both banks of the Mississippi River, just north of the river’s confluence with the Minnesota River, and adjoins Saint Paul, the state’s capital. Known as the Twin Cities, Minneapolis-Saint Paul is the 16th-largest metropolitan area in the U.S., with approximately 3.2 million residents. The 2010 Census had the city’s population at 382,578. The city is abundantly rich in water with over twenty lakes and wetlands, the Mississippi river, creeks and waterfalls, many connected by parkways in the Chain of Lakes and the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway. It was once the world’s flour milling capital and a hub for timber, and today is the primary business center between Chicago and Seattle. It has cultural organizations that draw creative people and audiences to the city for theater, visual art, writing, and music. Minneapolis’ community’s diverse population has a long tradition of charitable support through progressive public social programs, as well as private and corporate philanthropy.

A lot of of people were asking themselves : who will be the next opening act after Buckcherry!?  We don’t know yet, but the opening act in December for 5 dates has been confirmed!

Black Label Society confirmed today that they will be the opening act for the Gunners in those following dates!  Couple of years back, Zakk Wylde almost became GnR axeman!

Dec. 04 – Nashville, TN – Bridgestone Arena
Dec. 05 – Southaven, MS – DeSoto County Civic Center
Dec. 07 – Youngstown, OH – The Covelli Centre
Dec. 08 – Indianapolis, IN – Conseco Fieldhouse

GREAT NEWS!  I think again it is an amazing choice of opening act!

Good news brings one bad!

Apparently, and I say APPARENTLY!!!!the show in Bolivia, wich was being held on October 12th has been cancelled!  BUT, the Cordoba show that was previously “scheduled” on the 10th, will be held the 12th!  If it stays that way, great news for some, bad news from other!  Let’s hope that everybody will get a Guns n’ Roses dose one way or the other!
